Elsewhere, the Chromebase 24 can be configured with up to 8GB of RAM, and has 802.11ac WiFi and gigabit ethernet connectivity. Despite the increased power, Acer seems to be selling this as a video conferencing machine: it's got four digital microphones and an adjustable "HD" webcam.
